In 2019, I began to explore design through my own personal projects. I was living in Denver, Colorado at the time and my neighborhood held a seasonal farmer's market. Seeing the local vendors so passionate about sharing their goods with the world made my imagination run wild - what goods could I provide?
I grew up loving to eat my mom's pre-baked cookie dough. I later found out from a friend how dangerous that could be due to the raw eggs (thanks, mom...) and when I transitioned into a plant-based diet, enjoying the doughy goodness was no longer an option.
I struggled to find a quality cookie dough brand that was vegan and safe to eat raw, so my partner and I began experimenting at home. After multiple attempts & plenty of taste-testing, we finalized a recipe we would be proud to share with our community.
I took ownership of building the brand - I'm a shameless sucker for dad jokes - hence the play on words of Colorado => Colo-raw-dough. Next, I wanted to infuse the Colorado state flag into my design which inspired the color scheme and of course, mountains are must.
Unfortunately, we never did go to market with our raw dough, but you never know what the future may hold...
